Pool level went up 2 inches in 45 minutes here.  Just insane rainfall.

Wettest "Drought" EVER!

It has rained most evenings for the last couple of weeks.
Weeds grew two feet with the combination of warm days and afternoon rain.
Every day the 'Net weather report extends the forecast for T-Storms another day.

It's JULY, I want some clear sunshine!

My pool was at normal level last Monday. Then we got a storm Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, early Saturday, and again tonight. The water is about to break the rim.

I think Wednesday night was the worst.

I can't run my swamp cooler with this garbage. Summer month with no humidity my bill will be $70...if I run ac all month it's damn near $400. This humidity needs to stop and dry out....

Cool pic. Is it legit? Somebody mentioned airliners never cross that airspace?

In the case of a massive storm like that, they very well might pass that airspace if they are in a holding pattern.

We've had some serious storms coming through this past week @ 215/cheyenne. Reminds me of when I was a kid and we use to raft down Alta during the floods.

A lady friend lives near the 215 & Lake Meade and caught that heavy downpour on Monday or Tuesday. She found out her roof leaks in a couple of places.

Rain was coming down sideways in Summerlin this afternoon for about 5-10 minutes. Pretty awesome. I love Summer storms in the desert.

Of course it was completely dry within 30-40 minutes.

I was riding earlier this week when one of those hit.  Far less enjoyable when you are on two wheels.
