The 9552 and 9770 sound like NOCC codes, or they could just be an internal code to the court.  Looks like the person was initially charged with Possession of Cocaine, a felony, and that charge was going to be reduced to the lesser charge of drugs not to be intruduced to interstate commerce, a misdemeanor.

That it shows a warrant status with a undisposed status with a status date of 2008, it's possible he may have failed to complete whatever requirements imposed by the court and wound up with a contempt of court warrant.

Most definitive answer would be from the court where the charge is showing from.

Does it really matter?

Coke-head = Not anyone you want as a tenant!

If it is a warrant, will your door be busted down when the cops come for him?

Call the court and give them his contact info, if he has a problem the court will help him to "resolve it".

The problem with "background checks" like this is that the info is so limited. The guy could be a Cartel kingpin whose attorney plead it down to nothing or he could be a guy whose loser brother left a baggie of snort in the car and got pinched for it.

Absolutely correct, besides the drug issue, their credit scores failed.  We were curious over the cocaine possession and if it were a felony conviction. There was limited information with the report and the available Nevada statute codes are not readily available.  With the drug bust, it's a "tip of the iceberg" issue, and a possible outstanding warrant indicates lack of resolving the drug problem

Thanks, we'll keep looking.

yeah, i've had to clean up and do repairs in some rentals after some not so great tenants left.

hauling 18 truckloads of trash to the dump made me sick for a week afterwards.

we'd tried to be careful about who we rented to. after that we were more careful!

fortunately the rentals we had were in a small town with a prison and not many rental properties available. prison guards were always good renters. i've heard that .mil families are also usually good renters.

good luck finding a tenant who takes care of your property and pays on time.

The above person was arrested in Nevada and is now residing in CA

Most everyone looking at our house fails the credit check.  They are either bankrupt, done a foreclosure or Short Sale, or we have even had a section 8 looking at the house.  There's a ton of renters in need of a place to live, we just need a family who can pass a few background checks

Hey, section 8 is great. Guaranteed income at least. Just think of it as a tax refund....

And what's wrong with blow? Smells great!

Subject was arrested for PCS-Cocaine. As with most cases, the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor ITS-Drugs. I would guess there is a warrant for the person. Being the case is a misdemeanor, they won't extradite. The two common parts of the plea deal are counseling and drug testing. Miss or screw up either one and you are called back into court.

Uh what?
Cocaine is a misdemeanor now?
In Nevada?

Won't extradite?
Extradite to where, I thought this originated in Nevada?

I miss the good old days, when a single marijuana seed would send dopers to prison. (I have no tolerance for dope fiends and their social pollution)

I am sorry for the confusion. I thought it was clear when I said "it was reduced". The reduction has been very common and I am sure you didn't believe the pot-lover's hype that people went to prison for a single MJ seed. It is rare to get a felony conviction on a first time PCS or UICS charge.

The OP is in Kali, so I guess that is where the people are trying to rent a house. That is the reason for the extradition talk. Even if it did originate in NV, some counties restrict where they will pick up people with warrants. It isn't worth driving from Elko to Searchlight for an ITS-Drug warrant with a bail of $250.

I clearly remember, around 1990 or so, a local scum was sent to prison after LE vacuumed his car trunk and found enough dope residue to send him away.
Local media described it as "One marijuana seed and some trace amount of powder".

Of course they were also after him for other things he had "Beat" in court, child molesting might have been a part of it.

Local LE bragged on "Finally getting him" for a long time.

Funny you miss the days when they could sent you away for 15 years for a small amount of pot, because they used it to put away a kid toucher. I miss the days the kid toucher would just disappear and his bones would be found by some hunter or fisherman in the deep outback of Nevada.. Now those were the good old days..

What I really miss is not having scum trying to sell me dope in the grocery parking lot, or stealing my stuff.
