In Lyon County it took the full 120 days. They had the FBI check in two weeks. They then told me they were waiting on the State check.
All of this may be true but I tend to believe they just sit on it and wait out the 120 days for a shall issue so they don't have to expend any time or effort on it. It amazes me how they can run a Wants and Warrant check during a traffic stop and get all of that information in a heart beat, but it takes a 120 days to get the same information from the State for a CCW. |
