So, I can hunt the east side of the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness and La Madre Mountain Wilderness (tan)?

Never seen that map with the Red Rock Conservation area being so large.

You couldn't hunt in the the smaller area before, so this map truly has me wondering.

That map has "legislative proposal" written on it.  I think that's what may/might/would happen if certain wilderness bills were to pass.

Anyone have a good map of that area to use so I make sure I stay on hunting areas?  Thanks.

Not sure about the map. But as long as it is BLM, national forest and or wilderness you SHOULD be good to go for hunting. No shooting doesn't always mean no hunting. Many time it just refers to no target shooting. But please dont take my word for it.

The way I see it, that is just a map of the proposed wilderness areas for the area.  I see nothing in there that mentions shooting/no shooting areas.

We are in Nevada.  It's legal to own a gun, and shoot where we please, provided we are not shooting in a residential area, towards buildings, etc.  I would check with Clark County and get the codes.  They will describe areas where shooting is and is not allowed.

If it's not marked no shooting, no trespassing, no hunting, etc, and its not in violation of the county ordinace, then you are good to go.

Again, that map means absolutely nothing as far as shooting/hunting is concerned.  It is OK to shoot/hunt in a wilderness area, be it BLM or FS.
