Well this is very interesting! Here in Carson City, the Sheriff’s Office just requests a wait of 24 hours to add the handgun into their computerized CCW database. Hence the Carson City Sheriff’s Office does not issue a completely new CCW permit listing all of the handguns that the CCW Permit holder can carry.
Apparently here in Carson City, if a law enforcement officer has any questions as to which handguns the CCW Permit holder can be carrying, the officer just contacts the Carson City Sheriff’s Office for their computer database check of the handguns that CCW Permit has listed to the permit. Again, here in Carson City, no new CCW Permit listing the handguns to the permit is issued! |
