Hi Nevada neighbors. I hope this is an okay question to ask. I'll be driving through part of Nevada returning from a visit to Yosemite. I'm looking to get some fireworks for personal use and am not sure of what's available, legal, where to go, or what restrictions or stings to be aware of. I'm aware of merchants in Pahrump, but have also heard the reservations on the river are a good place. I know you can't get cherry bomb anymore, right? Don't want to get this thread locked. Thanks in advance for any info. |

During the off season nobody is looking for people with fire works, just use common sense while transporting fireworks. I am amazed every year at the numbers of fireworks gong off in this town and I love every bit of it. Yea, there are one or two injuries and maybe a fire or two but overall everyone stays safe.
Do not modify fireworks, we had one guy that did that this year and it went off kind of like a more powerful explosion. I never heard what had happened but I know he died. Stay safe out there. Tony Wright www.wrightfornevada.com |

Quoted: So why do they sell fireworks at the street corners on and before July 4th if they are illegal? Just curious... Hmmm? In Arizona? I've never seen or heard of fireworks stands here. But I'm up near Prescott where they're absolutely forbidden. Will check with my HTF. The pyromaniacs three will know. |

The two I can think of off the top of my head is the Avi Casino in Fort Mohave AZ (kind of across the river from Laughlin) - BIG fireworks store inside the gas station.
There's also one (or was) in Schurz (between Fallon and Hawthorne). Both are on tribal lands. |
