I have a 16" AR barrel that i want cut to 14.5 and a FH permanently attached. I am thinking about getting a Gemtec HALO, so it needs to be a good job that is concentric/square with the bore. are there any local smiths in the Reno area that do this for a fair price, or should I just send it off to ADCO?

Supposedly there is a guy down in Carson but that is all hearsay.
The only true smith I know of here is Randy Dierks of Action Gun Works He is a big time 50 cal and benchrest smith. I have heard that he is a little off sometimes but does high quality work. I have absolutely no idea if he even works on AR's. I was just planning on sending mine to Adco |

LV honestly unless you need garand work or action pistol stuff reno is kinda short on your needs... send to ADCO they will get it correct. and stay away from guntrader |
