Hey it's like there's a member here who would know!
I'm set to become a Northie Expatriate as of next week, moving down to the ol' Hive O' Scum and Villainy for an unspecified stretch. So, chatting with my buddy and fellow Northie Expat Gunmonkey, we discussed going after Javalina. And neither of us can find anything on NDOW's site regarding the little critters. Do we need a license with the upland game stamp, or are the tasty little buggers considered varmints just as pigs are in TX, FL and elsewhere? A link to words in black and white would be much preferred. Thanks. |

In Arizona... no javelinas in Nevada.
Start here for info to get you started....... LINK Arizona Game & Fish Dept...... Javelinas Arizona Game regulations Arizona Tag/License Link The closest I've seen Javelinas is Wikieup..... harvested a javelina about 4 years ago there. It's about 3 hours south of Las Vegas. There are javelinas in the mountains of Kingman which is even closer but I have not been in that area. The hardest part is finding them... the stalk and the kill will be easy if you know what you are doing. You are allowed 1 javelina per calendar year in Arizona.... 2 in Texas. There are 3 seasons.... Archery only/HAM (handgun, archery, muzzleloader)/Rifle. Fees: Non-resident general license $151.25...... Javelina tag: $105.00 Hope this helps..... |

ORLY said the owl. I wonder where these feral pigs congregate? I figure possibly up near Mesquite with all that unnatural green stuff it has growing everywhere and all. I have been out there looking but have not seen anything. no signs and its thick brush.Jon and myself did sink our quads in the river on one trip.I talked to a few locals that have not seen any in years.Im still going to scout different areas though. |

If you are referring to the feral pigs/hogs that are in the LIttlefield area, then the link below may help.
