Free chow at all Stations properties at the buffet.  Good deal.  Guess I'll walk across the street and stuff my gullet with prime rib.

Wow!  Applebees must have done a good job at getting the word out here in Reno.

I stopped by the Applebee's on Kietzke for a late lunch around 1:30PM and had to park in another lot.  When I walked towards the building, I saw a line of vets out the door and down the side of the building.

Since I had to get back to work and couldn't wait in line, I ended up going elsewhere.

Were the buffets in Vegas that bad, too?

Fucking Bass Pro shop!  I went there and spent about $100 on some reloading accessories.  I asked if they had a Mil discount and the register girl said yes but not until tomorrow, and could I come back tomorrow (They apparently only do it on the 15-30th of every month).  I said WTF, I live 40 min away and no I really don't want to drive all the way back?  So I asked her to ask a manager if he could help out and authorize it a day early.  He came over and to his credit was very nice and told the girl to authorize the Mil discount a day early.

So when she rung it up, it showed the Mil discount but no change in total price.  Again WTF?  So supervisor comes back over. looks at it and tells me that not everything in the store is eligable for the discount and most gun/shooting stuff is not included in the discount.  Great, thanks for nothing.

And for the record, I don't EXPECT a discount - i just feel if you're going to offer it, don't jerk people around by saying its only offered on certain days and on certain things.  That's kinda BS, imho.

Fuck me!  What else is left in the store to buy?  Maybe some DVDs on cooking possum and some cammo colored girls pajamas - but beyond that I have no idea what's left worthwhile to buy.
