in the Carson city, Reno area.
I want to buy some guns on gun broker and I need them sent to a FFL that won't get upset that I am not buying from their stock. what is the going rate for a transfer charge? Thanks.

US Firearms Academy on Moana Both are good guys and do transfer without issues. You may need to tell USFA that you are a member here to get the good rate. I think both are at $25. |
The absolute best is Larry Wright. He's out in Spanish Springs. He is super easy to work with and he only charges $15 per gun for transfer fee. I had two lowers transferred to him for $55, which included the background check. Last I heard, USFA charges $50 just for the transfer ( ); to be fair, USFA gives ARFCOMers a $25 fee, but that's still more than Larry. Larry's retired, so his schedule is super flexible.
