| How much did this photo op cost? I guess execs can't send their people to conventions in Vegas but the Prez can send Air Force One to scare the shit out of people of NYC. Good job. |

99 days and he decides he needs a photo of him in a plane. Wow. We could have googled one for him.
Obama: "I would love an oppertunity to see the Statue of Liberty. Show the kids some real history." Press: "That would be an excellend idea Mr. Pres. We could take photos of you and the kids in the plane." Obama: "Well lets keep this low key. I wouldn't the people of NYC to know I'm coming." Pres: "Yeah, why worry them." Not like they don't see 747 air crafts flying over them on a daily basis. Close enough to hit buildings. You've GOT to be kidding me with this idiot. Who would think it's not a big deal to fly a plane into NYC at extremely low elevations just to get your pilot some hours and take some photos? How much money did we waste on fuel for that plane? How detailed are these photos? Is the general public going to get a copy of the photo for their desk since they were for PR? The Sec. of Def. didn't even know the people didn't know. He's talking at FBI to explain his actions. Wow.....gives out our militart secrets, flys a plane over NYC for no big deal, can't get a working teleprompter or someone smart enough to write it for him. How was he #1 at Harvard law? I guess he's really good at reading and memorizing the answer. |

Do you know where your airplane is? If I had a plane I would always never not know where it was at. There are 2 planes in the fleet and one at a time is only classified as Air Force One when the pres. is on it. This leaves another plane for backup. He may have known where 1 was, but like ANIMUS said he is pretty busy screwing things up. |

I am responsible for my staff. If they fuck up I answer to my boss not them. It's all about ownership of problems. I convey a message to my managers and they convey that to the staff. I make sure I do this clearly and effectively because ultimately I am the one who shoulders the responsibility if something goes wrong. If I had condemned corporate America for their excess I would damn well make sure I had my shit wired tight so as not to cause a public relations nightmare if I tripped over my own foot. If he is going to call out people for their shortcomings he should lead by example. That being said, the corporate excess of AIG, the lack of management and oversight at any of the big car manufacturers, and the financial lenders preying upon the ignorance of the American wanna' be home owner all disgust me. How the F&*K does a server at PF Changs own 5 houses? I am obviously doing something wrong! |
| I guess they make pretty good tips at PF Changs! I totally agree with you about the complete lack of responsibility in this country. This is definitely something that the Obama administration has shown in the last 100 days. What it boils down to is this: if he did know about the plane then it was very irresponsible for obvious reasons. If he didn't, which isn't so far off with this retarded government right now, then it still shows a huge lack of responsibility and lack of communication. Either way it was a huge mistake that shouldn't ever have happened. |

Didn't he do this while the plane was flying around looking pretty for all the New Yorkers to see? Something about a teleprompter incident and him introducing people already? |

I'm trying to find the video from the press conference she gave yesterday but I was so annoyed and embarrassed by Janet's lack of speaking ability I had to leave the waiting room in the Doctor's office. The guy from her office said "UH" every other word from the moment he started to introduce her, and then she said "UH" like 50 times within 4-5 minutes.
Here's a small example that's not near as bad as what I saw yesterday but it gets the point across: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrjZJu85q40&feature=fvsr And this one illustrates it yet again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=almHc5TWVJU If "Mr Bush" or any other republican administration had this many people that couldn't speak their way out of a wet paper bag the liberal press would be all over it like a rat on a Cheeto. As an American I am appalled and embarrassed at how illiterate a supposed bunch of "smart" Ivy League douche bags are. For cryin' out loud any Sgt in the .mil can speak 100 times better than these assholes. |
