Anybody have a good connection here in town? Trying to help out a buddy, move a 925lb safe into his house. Might be a little much for the standard furniture/ appliance dolly.

Bah, just tell all your friends to meet you at his place to drink some beer. When they get there, THEN you tell them what they have to do to get the beer.

Yeah, he told me that he was quoted $400. Ugh
We do have an appliance dolly and a low boy trailer, and thankfully there are no stairs involved.
Looks like man-power is the way to go.

Depending on the kind of safe taking the door off is real easy and makes the safe real easy to work with. Half the weight is in the door. Mine came off with a little help from a floor jack.
