Since I have been eligible to vote I have never missed an opportunity to make my personal contribution to society.  Now for the first time I have this opportunity in Nevada and am somewhat confused by all the NON PARTISAN Supreme courts seats and various other Judgeships.  I consider these positions to be equally important to the Big One, but wouldn't mind a little guidance regarding these "non-partisan" canidates 2nd Amendment stances.

Your input please.

I don't have either on them on my ballot.  I have the choice between Thomas Christensen and Mark Gibbons, and Elissa Casish and Benjamin Childs Sr

Since we live fairly close I am assuming I am in the same district as you based on the ballot information.

Let me check with my wife and see what she knows about them, and then I'll post here.

I got a bunch of cards from the NRA yesterday voting, but only 1 out of 4 of them applied to people on my ballot.  Don Mosely for judge, Brian Scroggins for County Commissioner A, Tom Collins for Commissioner B, and Valerie Webber for Commissoner C; Joe heck for State Senate District 5; andTim Rowland for State Assembly District 41.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal's editorial board leans heavily conservative/libertarian, and will make endorsements. May already have done so. They do sometimes endorse an incumbent against a challenger perceived to be "fringe-y"; I expect them to endorse Shelley Berkley, for example, and I shall be ignoring that endorsement. I lean heavily on R-J endorsements, though, for the small races in which information about the candidates is scarce.

The rj's a liberal rag like the rest of 'em.

Oh, touche. As articulate and well-reasoned a response as could ever be asked for.

Some of the R-Js columnists are liberal (Schumacher, Neff). The editorial board is not. They're separate entities, a distinction which obviously escapes you.

Well I recieved the NRA's cards blaze orange and all, as well as the Republican party's offerings.  I also found online last PM the RJ's advice some of which was indeed quite well reasoned.

It is the hidden agenda of many canidates which concerns me more than the obvious associations.  Witness the fact that the NRA can endorse Dem's with a proven sanity streak.

...as far as I can throw 'em

the rj cherry picks it's stories just like the rest of them.  you didn't read about Heller in the rj or sun until the SCOTUS ruled, did you?  there was alot going on that wasn't reported.

NV Republican party sent their postcard today naming all the judges who are (R), if you want to just vote partisan.
