Ordered one of these, a couple of days ago (like Thunderwear) and it came, today.

I'm really surprised (and impressed!).  The thing works great.

I really had low hopes.  About 15 years ago, I'd bought one of those "pager pal" holsters, and what a disaster that was.  (I was a lot skinnier back then, which may have had something to do with it, too).

The Smartcarry is really cool.  Using the G19, you can't even see a buldge.  Highly recommended.

I must concur.  I use one frequently for when I am dressed in a fashion that does not support any other means of carry and it works very very well.

mine's ok, but with my glock 26 it jabs me in the junk when I'm sitting or driving.

very comfortable when I'm standing though.

but I can't stand all day.

my kel-tec P32 is fine but drops in too deep for fast draw.

What I would like to know is, how does this differ from Thunderwear? Muzzling the family jewels all day with a G27 in condition 1 simply wasn't appealing to me. Every time I sat, it was also horrendously uncomfortable, and not the least bit unnerving.

I think it's pretty much the same as Thunderwear.  Smartcarry may have added some kind of newer material to improve their product.

I think it actually sits in front of your spring roll.  Doesn't point at it.

Keep your finger off the trigger, and I don't think you'll have a problem with it.

Haven't worn it for a long period while sitting.  Will report back once I do.  As a chronic malcontent-- I'm sure I'll eventually find something wrong with it.  ;)

Do you have to wear loose clothing for it to work well?

Normal fitting pants seem to work fine.  Spandex probably wouldn't work.

I kinda feel the same way about carrying my G27 in the smartcarry.... I don't like being quite that intimate with a semiauto that has no positive safety.   I only carry my Glocks in a holster made for that model.   I carry a snubnose .357 with a bianchi speed strip spare in the smart carry.  I hardly notice it's even there.

I bought one of those before I got my CCW. Never tested it out with my current carry weapon.
Have to give it a try.
One thing always comes to mind, you gotta work out the whole taking a piss thing pretty well, or just use a stall, i suppose.

Directions are on the website and/or the instrcution sheet with the gun.  It's not that big a deal.  Unzip, push the holster to the side and do your thing.  The worst part is getting everything arranged properly when you're done.
