Well, it finally happened.  My AC went out.  Still running outside, but no cool air coming out of the vents.  So if anyone knows a good AC guy who won't rape me, please pass the info. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

D,

If for some reason things don't work out with the other company contact Pat at:

Airtron
59 Ashby Hills Ct
Henderson, NV 89012
Business Telephone: (702) 566-1551

Squared away guy, not a gouger, and he stands behind his work.

Hope this helps.

Be Safe.

If its blowing inside and the compressor is cycling on and off check the fan motor. More often than not that is the first thing that craps out. If the motor checks out good check the starting capacitor. These AC units are pretty tough and it is usually the simple stuff that craps out. If you are willing (and you have a meter) you can save a shit load of cash DIY...

For parts call Appliance Parts at 702-384-8888  Good prices and LOT of parts. Their located like 95 and LV Blvd.

First of all check to see if you have a RED BUTTON anywhere around the bottom of your AC unit. I used to think mine crapped out until I was told by the warranty guys there is a reset button there to push. After pushing it the compressor works again- it stops to protect itself from overheating or voltage spikes. Check that before you call out an AC guy.
