If your buying its normally good stuff and sometimes collectable, if you want it to shoot then pay up to the going rate for 7.62x39 if you want it for collection value then pay what you feel. If your selling then $50 and drop it off at my house I have seen it as much as $8 per box for the yellow stuff and cases around $250 up but I think that is the cooper washed stuff |

People like to pay a lot of $$ for Norinco, and especially for the older steel core projectiles, but fail to realize it isn't AP ammo; sure it's harder than lead, but I don't think it's better. Matter of fact, I don't think it may be that good at all: An old buddy and I were shooting 3wks ago and he was having a heck of a time with his AK, clearing malfunctions (duds) left and right. I asked where he got the crap fodder he was attempting to shoot. Then he told me it was ammo I'd given him about 14yrs ago! It was Norinco copper washed stuff, can't remember if it was steel core or not, cuz I ammo-canned everything back then (still do). Wierd. I don't remember it failing so much way back when. We ended up shooting my Golden Tiger stuff, which worked 100% in his AK. |
