Does anyone have any info on feral hogs up around Winnemucca or Paradise Valley? I heard there may be some up that way to hunt but wonder if someone might have some more specifics. Maybe if you even have a contact up that way I could call, PM me. Thanks! David |

If so can there be a Trepadation Hunt? I never cared for Wild Tuskers to Gamey. The Russian Boar and Sow in Nor Cal on the Coast eat Pot,Mushrooms and the ones in the Delta eat Corn and whatever else BillBob has planted amongst the other 'Cash Crops' I'll donate my share of meat to any family or worthy orginization,I just want a picture |
There was a small game ranch that was located right on the border of Littlefield, AZ and Mesquite, NV. I do not know the status of that place as of right now. I have not hunted there but I do know of a few guys that been there a long time ago. CA is the place to go for feral hogs since it's next door. I'd tell you to go to TX but that WAY out there. |
| There are several wild hogs on the river near Littlefield and Mesquite. They are ferral and no lisence is needed to hunt them in Nevada. Dogs are the best way to hunt them. The brush is thick and lots of crawling will be needed. There was a guy who use to run dog hunts down there for around $300 a day. Not sure who it was or if he is still in business. |

I planning on going with this guy comes fall. highsierraguideservice.com/wildboar.html |
His guiding service, cleaning of hog(s), and hauling it out for you. He will get you on the boars..... your shooting ability is then in your hands. License and tags are cheap. He told me that you can get a cheap motel which he'll pick you up from or you can camp out close by if you have a camper. You can bring your own foods or you can eat at the local small towns. |
The foothills up and down the central valley are loaded with pigs. Make friends with the ranchers and then look for the pig rootings. We used to have access to a few hundred acres east of Madera and would hunt Quail but the pigs(and 'yotes) were thick in there too. |

Here's another one but he's more up north and closer to the ocean. www.boaring.com/ |

Never heard of more then a few feral hogs in the Winnemucca area (2). Was a couple down in the sinks outside of Lovelock many years ago but the drought and hunters took care of them. I know of some guys that were hunting feral cows in the Lovelock sinks back in the early 90s. |
That is what I thought, as there were Javs in AZ at my last duty station. |
