Well now that the days have become cooler - I am looking for a store that has a selection of gloves to choose from for outdoor activities including range time.
The crap ninja tactical gloves ie Blackhawk for $50.00+ are imho overpriced compared to many of the KT, Framer or even Machanix (coyote color) gloves that hold up to actual work.

just go with the Mechanix gloves, they are $20? Well worth it. I've got some tacticool Hatch gloves, but have learned that the left hand trigger finger gets torn up with side charging the AR.

Hatch/blackhawk/etc. tacticool cambodian/vietnamese made blah, blah

Machanix are nice and I like them but I tear out mine from time to time (gorilla hands) plus I don't care for the fact that they absorb (instead of shed) oil/liquid when wrenching. So I wanted to eyeball some different varieties.

ive got a nice pair of light mossy oak/ realtree (cant remember cause i tore out the tags)
they r thin but very well insulated .. they keep my digits nice and warm plus i am able to shoot with them on...

and then i have a heavy pair of GHOST camo gloves/mits that i wear when its really cold.. they hinder pistol use but i am able to use the while shooting rifle..

both of these items i picked up at bass pro..

hope this helps bro..

I would just go get two pairs of Mechanixs gloves.  One for dirty work and one for shooting.  Nomex gloves never hold up very long but they are cheap.

Southwest Motorsports makes some really nice gloves you might want to check out.

I was in ACE the other day and was cruising by the glove isle and saw a selection of gloves that were essentially black, ninja, mechanix...bla, bla... for $14.00 and I purchased a pair. They are black synthetic, soft leather palmed, wrist strap, reinforced...tactical style glove. They had an plastic ACE logo that I promptly removed with a heat gun as soon as I got home. I'm happy with them and they work great.

I just can't see spending $50 smackers for gloves that most likely come from China and cost .10 cents to make.

(Bad enough spending $14.00 for cheap gloves!!! )
