A few months ago while i was in Iraq i was browsing the here and there was a post about doing NFA trusts in NV. Does anybody have a link to that post or any info. Im looking into getting a factory SBR and setting up a trust for it and all later NFA purchases. I read most of the nfa trust posts in the NFA section, mainly the 41 page post about it. However im more interested in anything that is specific to doing a trust in NV. Has anybody done a nfa trust in N. NV and have any sugestions to do it?

Another willing to help.
I used quicken willmaker, had the trust notarized at mailboxes etc. Super easy and almost too good to be true!

I had a question about trusts too...what if two trustors are in different states?  How do you verify that the trust encompasses both states' requirements?

I don't think it matters where the executors of the trust reside, so long as at least one resides in the state the trust is formed in.
As an example, if one of the individuals is in California and one of the individuals is in Nevada, I am pretty sure it wouldn't matter. Obviously, an NFA item can't be taken over there, but there shouldn't be any reason that they couldn't come here and have free access to items in a trust.

A lot of states require that the trust's trustee reside in the state where the trust is formed.  The beneficiaries can reside anywhere.

Do not mean to hi jack the thread. I am planning to get a trust as well and get a silencer but the nature of my job may require me to move in a few years. How do you do this with an NFA item?

u submit your paper work with your current adress and when you move u just call and notify them that your current adress has changed.. its really simple..

I have never been able to call for an address change because they wanted the chnages in writing.

If moving out of state, you must submit the request on an ATF form. The place you are going must permit the NFA items, so going to the Kommunist states is out of the question.

Good to know. If I am moving because of work it will be Utah or Texas they do not pay me enough to move to Kalifornia.
