ok i know this sounds retarded considering i'm a henderson native. but it's been a long time since i've gone camping. where is a good place to go excluding potosi. my son has wanted to go. i don't mind driving a couple of hours to go to a good place

any help from the nv ar family would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance

Hilltop is a good campground that is between Mt. Charleston and Lee Canyon.  Utah has a few good places such as Duck Creek or Pine Valley.  Both are about a little over 2 hrs drive.

Not too rough- Eagle Valley Reservoir

For plenty of in the middle of nowhere spots- I like the Pioche area due to the nicer weather this time of year and plenty of mines to go look at.

I camp out of Sand Springs dry lake near Rachel, it's no bare bones, no services. I won't camp near people anymore, I like to go out and with just those in my party and not have anyone else around.

Here is one of the kids in my church youth group when we got there last year before we set up camp. Beautiful and quiet out there.

all's I know is the regular Campground stuff is a No Go here that just Pisses me to no end!,find a spot out in the Desert with da' Posse it's so relaxing that ya' just forget damn near everything except for where the Beer,Bottle and Azz wipe is
