Rat Bastards! I'm at Durango and Rosada. Been there for about 15 years, since they were mostly dirt roads. Since the friggn beltway and all the G'damn appartment and condos went in on the north side, the COCKroaches are out day and night. I hate seeing all the scum that our area has attracted. If you leave ANYTHING out at night is is fair game for those c'suckers. Sorry for your loss... |

Muh Ther Fuckers! Those pics REALLY frost my nuts Bro. I don't know what to say other than I hope the karma machine rolls around and grinds them up real soon. The anger runs deeper because that Fucked up shit happened to a good friend. OOOHHH I'm pissed! Vandals and Thieves <<<<< ![]() PS: Call me if you need anything. |
Well, might as well give the next joe shitbag something to think about: A couple of airplane bottles of vodka, emptied and refilled with rubbing alcohol. Leave them in the glove box as a tasty treat for them. After all, smashing a rock through a window can be hard work and we wouldn't want them to get thirsty...
|
Whaaaaaat? I know you've told me before, but where does she work? So I make sure not to do business with them? |
You would have a good case against them I would think. Especially if they are requiring her to go to this class. I have a friend that was a pharmacy manager there and they required her to work overtime a lot so they canned her when they didn't want to pay her overtime for the overtime she was required to work. Does that make sense?

If you need a new computer to have or loan I might be able to hook you up. Not a toughbook, but fast and ugly. *ETA* BTW, you may get lucky and find the piece of crap-asshole that did it. My car was LOOTED in Oakland last fall. Stole my stereo (no faceplate, had it with me.) and a bunch of my car maint. papers. ??? Well I found his bitch ass selling 3 stereos out on Broadway that same day as I was going to get my side window replaced. He was walking around with three of these things and came up to me to sell me one. I looked at what he was holding, and sure enough one of them was mine. I could recognize my wire bundles a mile away I am that anal about it. I asked to see the "sweet Kenwood bro" and he handed it over. I looked at it, and yes it WAS mine. So I looked him in the eye, and asked, "how much?" He went on about how this was his best in "stock" ( At this point I got pissed. I said, "This thing retails for $500 and you smashed up my car to sell it for $150?!?!" He got this scared look and realized I was at the glass shop getting the window that he busted out replaced. He just stood there completely stunned. So I asked him if it was worth it. He started mumbling about how sorry he was etc. I told him to fuck off before I killed his ass. Then he has the audacity to ask for the stereo back.... I said sure and threw it down the alley as far as I could. The thing blew up on the pavement. He starts screaming at me (there is a crowd from the body shop watching by now) about how I am messing with his money blah blah blah. I started laughing at him and said, "How does it feel shithead?" Lol he ran off screaming about how he was going to fuck me up and call the cops and have me arrested. Everybody clapped. |
At that point I would have lost it and beat him over the head with my stereo until he didn't want it anymore. |

Not to be an asshole, but, why would you leave a laptop out in the open? I hate getting calls like that from people. I just want to say, "Hey dumbshit, your shit would never have been stolen if you locked it up!" I had one numbnut who called us out one night to report a stolen bike. This guy was all pissed someone stole his kids brand new bike he had bought him for his birthday a few days before. Not to mention his kid was a fat ass who needed the exercise. Well I started my investigation and lo and behold it comes out that this guy left his garage door open. Well that made my report so much easier. Then this guy started asking what we were going to do about it. I asked him if was going to start shutting his garage door more often and I put away my note pad and returned to station to do my report which was titled, "Theft of Personal Property-UNSECURED" I can see if you left the laptop in the car for a minute or two but if you left that shit in there over night, thats your fault. I'm sorry it happened to you. But it's shit like this is the reason why insurance rates fucking suck and people are goddamn thieves. |
As much as I love ya, I'm going to have to strongly disagree with that. It's ALWAYS the thieve's fault. Period. Yes, we as HONEST people have to exercise alot more diligence nowadays because folks are raising their kids with an 'I'm entitled to the stuff you worked for' attitude and are growing up to be punk ass thieves..... but that's not to say that any of us shouldn't have the right to leave something locked up in OUR cars, in OUR driveways on OUR property. Realistically, the chances of becoming a victim of theft are smaller if you lock all your stuff up out of sight, but that doesn't mean the theif is ultimately and more or less to blame. A thief, is a thief, is a shit head. Sorry for the un-ladylike language. |
Lol. i thought about it, but in Oakland the criminal has more rights, especially if I am white and he is an "oppressed African American". Uhuru House (black asshole communists) and the local white libs (pushover enablers) had a fit when a black man shot a "teenage youth" (drug dealer) that pulled a gun on him in his own yard. Imagine what they would do to a successful middle class 28yo evil white man?
|
I read you loud and clear ma'am, but my point was that the fault lies with leaving the opportunity present for such thievery to take place. I also understand that as a property owner you should have to the right to be able to store anything how we want on our own property, but, why make a thiefs job any easier? I mean if the fuckers want to steal my shit they had better work for it, that is if they survive.... |
Point of order. THAT's not a skirt, that's a tent. I think I see the Coleman label peaking out under there...no wait...
|
Chiz- you're killing me. The way we note the report is the way it has to go in the event log. I have more sympathy for a victim of a sex crime versus someone who gets property stolen. |
![]() p.s. GB needs alot of sympathy |

When the society blames the victim, it is becasue the government cannot do the job promised and tries to deflect the blame off them to a scapegoat, the victim. It doesn't matter that the victim acted in a rational manner. Your stuff gets stolen -- you didn't lock it up good enough. Does not matter that you are ripped off. You get mugged -- you should have traveled in a group. It does not matter that there was no group. You get raped. see above. Doesn't matter that you were home alone and the doors locked. You shouldn't have been there. Criminals complain they are persecuted. -- obviously you are a racist. You expect that someone living here would speak english -- don't count on it. see above. Criminals caught in the act and detained or chased -- Police show up ( maybe Unless you use the word "gun") and state you should not have risked yourself or put yourself in that situation in the first place. They would rather take a report. The police don't get the credit for the arrest, makes them look bad. This is the fault of the "nanny state" government and many peoples desire to get a free ride. The same people push for more and more laws that are not needed for crimes that are already crimes. These are the doogooders and boy, have they done us good. High taxes for services that were never functions of government in the first place. The police complain that they cannot tell the good guys from the bad guys. I would suggest they have a clue -- It's called CCW. There are far too many incidents that show the police opinion of CCW holders. And it aint good. Blaming the victim is retarded. Yes, people make mistakes. But that does not make them the bad guys as is implied in "you didn't lock it up". The victim is not the cause of the crime. And to state the victim is the cause of the crime, only serves to alienate the people who support you. You will then find a lot of mistrust and people will not want to talk to you for any reason. Sound familiar? And anybody who thinks the victim of the crime is to blame is dumber than a box of manure and has manure for brains. Blaming the victim for the crime, is like blaming horses for smog. |
That shows what you know about most sex crimes. The last figures I heard was that over 90% of reported rapes were fictitious. The real ones are the rarity! |
Really?? you see society blaming the victim, not the govt.
Makes them look bad?? Please. We get credit for the arrest no matter HOW the suspect was captured. Lame argument........ the good people catching the bad guys makes our job MUCH easier!!
Unless the good guys are saggin' in their gangster ware, it is usually pretty easy to tell the difference.
Cause??? Never..... making it easy?? Well, yes. Leaving your gun collection out in your driveway is totally within your rights, but would we call it smart?? Nope...... Same goes with leaving your keys in the ignition, front door open, etc. It isn't the govt. saying you screwed up, but the people in the community that even recognize an issue with making it easy for criminals. |
Well sir there was no doubt in the sex crime cases I've worked were quite real and not ficticious. That was some of the worst stuff I saw in 8 years as an SP. So thats what I know about that bud. |

DF, Crimes reported on base or base housing probably tend to be factual, as the victims involved are for the most part, held to a different standard than those outside the Military world. Ask any sex crimes detective in the valley, and you'll find that what RDP says is fact, and in my 15yrs on the street I can attest: MOST reported rapes are bogus. Back to the original point of the hijack: We can all learn a lesson here; that is, a vehicle is the WORST, most unsecure place to store items of value, for 1 day or 1 minute. Take that as I say it, it is fact. Glory Biggs, I tend to take 'extra' special care of thiefs when I get them, rest assured yours will be caught, they always are. |
I have no doubt with guys like you on the job Dawg Just to set the record straight - Having your truck window smashed or your home window smashed in is no different in my book and to have any cop or whatever capacity you serve (DF) claim that its somehow my fault is ridiculous. Do you have a long gun in your patrol vehicle, how bout a radio, how bout a gear bag? That shit gets removed and then reloaded every time the vehicle gets parked for dinner break or answering a call inside a bldg. or every time it gets parked? I always hide items left in the vehicle. The laptop usually was stored under the rear seat hidden from sight - This particular night my old man was flying in from NY the next day and I folded up my rear seats to accommodate him and placed my laptop case in the front seat. Just wrong place wrong time. |

GB, Sorry for your loss! That's a damn fine truck you have! I have a Tundra but I've been looking at the new Tacomas. Other than the smashed window has it treated you well? I'm surprised your rims and tires didn't walk off as well. I came out to my truck a while back to find I was missing several lugnuts. Must've interrupted their sleaze bag operation. Hope your future days start a bit brighter, like with the cops informing you that they have recovered your laptop and want to know if you want to do a ballistic test of your carry ammo on real bad guy tissue. I personally would settle for the severed hand of the one that hucked the rock through my window. You don't mess with a mans ride! Oh yeah.....one last thing... What lift do you have on your truck (is it lifted? can't tell from the pic). |
ernieB - I really love the truck, I traded in my Tundra on it and have never regretted the decision. Let me know if you want to drive it and test it out, it would be my pleasure. I have an adjustable 3" Donahoe Racing Coilover lift/ total chaos uniball uca's in the front with set of 1.5" Deaver 8-pack springs in the rear. If you are seriously considering a setup like this let me know - I can really help you out
