Think about it... I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week I had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere. Then some of the birds turned nasty: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. It was like a scene from the Hitchcock movie "The Birds." Then, species of birds that I had never seen before started showing up. They would chase away and attack the sweet little songbirds that have lived in my yard since I moved into the house. And other birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back patio anymore. Finally I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal. I even started seeing the sweet little songbirds slowly returning to build their nests in the trees. Now lets see... Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be a automatic citizen. Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands and slowly squeezed out American families from their childhood neighborhoods. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 Illegal families; crime is up and punishment is down; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor: your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder. ETA:I didn't write the above piece. It was sent to me by a friend of mine in an e-mail. I did add a couple of lines to it though.

All true - This shit fires me up so here I go... Also true is most of the illegal folks bust ass out in the fields, on almost every construction site, over the grills at the places we eat, etc. Guys on the corner of local nursery's or pump stations out number Hispanic gang bangers 1000 to 1. Most are very family oriented, non-violent, and friendly. The Legal= they get Government ID's, fingerprinted, give DNA samples, then they pay taxes, social security, court fines, car insurance, they have a vested interest in fitting into our society, assimilating, they won't go underground and would have no reason or want to hide. Legal does not = Citizenship per say If they want to work, let them work. grant them guest worker visa’s, temporary residency's, etc. Then after 7-10 years let them apply for Citizenship as they work and pay taxes. If they are convicted of a misdemeanor or felony while waiting they automatically/mandatory lose all rights to be in Country legally and must leave or be charged with another felony for failing to comply. My view is from meeting many Hispanics, working from the Atlantic coast all the way to the Pacific coast in construction. I respect any man that is willing to give a it all for a chance at something. I have seen them bust ass all day long in heat that most of you guys consider "extreme survival conditions" and they do it for much less then 99.99 percent of our society would do it for. IMHO this Country can figure out a way to make them pay what they owe, weed out the trash and make every illegal a criminal if they do not conform to the temporary worker status regulations, once a criminal our local cops can deal with the issue. Also local PD's should be given Federal grants based on the number of illegal apps they log and deport. -vent over- |
