| Usually buy the 100 round boxes of 9mm from WallyWorld @ $10.96. Seems that the price has gone to $12.88 now, so I'm wondering where you all buy your bulk 9mm. Mail order? In town? Give up your sources, mateys!! |

Fiochii (SP???). 115 gr fmj for $140ish / k at SG and BRA. It was $120 / k last month. I know it is a little more cash but I have had better luck with it compared to the WWB. The fiochii runs smooth in my 92 and NFA stuff, the WWB seems to have taken a turn for the worse in the last 3-4 months, real spuratic cycle rates and notable change in "Pop" from round to round. 9mm throw in a coupon and find someone with a membership, it is right at 135 shipped. |
| Right now I am using CCI Blazer Brass. Got it on sale at natchezss.com for around $100 for a thousand. I wish I would have gotten more because it has been good stuff for me and now it is up to $7 a box of 50. The steel cased Blazer is cheaper. My roommate uses it in his Glock with no problem but right or wrong I feel the brass cased stuff will cause less wear. |

Local, keep a watch on Dicks and Bass Pro shops for sales, I see it running about 10.00-12.00 per 100 for the Rem UMC quite often.. I'll let you know if I find anything better. I've been contemplating running to J&G and seeing what type of discount they'll give me on a Tacoma bed worth of ammo... John P.. |

I buy the Wally World Winchester - .13 / rnd Still the cheapest I can find, plus it shoots just fine. Another thing to consider is that some Wally's are discontinuing firearm and ammo sales due to the lack of profitability. This is not the case at my Wally’s; they can barely keep it in stock. It's nice to think that you can run into a Wally’s and get a box if you are on the road. Buying there once in a while keeps that option alive. |
Hook up a group buy, and I am in! |

Better start reloading Chiz. Purchase a Dillon 650 and you are good to go. You can't wrong with that set up. They even make a bullet feeder for the 650 now. Get the following upgrades to make sure you are loading 100%: low powder sensor, low primer sensor, no charge/double charge sensor, case feeder and bullet feeder. You can crank out about 1200-1500 rounds of 9mm an hour easily with that set up. thanks, Ron |
How much does 1000rds of 9mm cost in the end when you reload? |
7000 grains of powder in a pound: 1 pound of 9mm powder (average) $15 6 grains of powder for NATO spec round (certain powder) Like new USGI pulled 9mm FMJ bullets average around $45 per 1000 Primers are about $12 per thousand Brass... if you save your old brass free, if not you can get 100% once-fired locally here from Brassmanbrass.com for $30 if you want brass or nickle from the same manufacture. If you don't mind mixed (I don't), then it's only $20 per thousand. So... what does all this add up to "in the end" .012 for a primer .045 for bullet .03 for same type of brass (if you don't have any) .012 for powder About $4.95 per 50 rounds if you dont have any brass or $3.45 if you have brass (or at least on your second round of reloading). thanks, Ron BTW: Here is the bullet feeder for the Dillon 650 or 1050. It's kind of pricey but sure will pay for itself in time and reduced cost of ammo. Click on the video demo. www.bulletfeeder.com/ |
Damn... I guess the Brassman thinks the Democrats in office have raised the value of his brass . I was just on his website yesterday and the 5.56 cases were $30 per thousand and now they are $45 per thousand. The .30-06 cases were $80 per thousand but raised to $120 per thousand.... for once-fired brass WOW!!..If any of you guys fire .30-06, Hi-techammo.com has a good deal on virgin (easy now Wolfpack) pull-down .30-06 brass. It's $80 per 1000. thanks, Ron |

I get most of my ammo online. The Hunting Shack (HSM) has a special on 9MM: HSM 9-2R | 115 gr. FMJ Range | fired brass | $109.28 per 1000 |
