| I'm south and did a ton of IPDA, IPSC and Steel challenge in the 4 months before deploying, but didn't have a rifle. Unfortunately I'm moving to SC in November so I've got time for just a few shoots before I move. I'll probably keep/rent out my house in Vegas cause I eventually expect to get assigned back there. I just wish I'd managed to get into High Power a year or two ago. On the flip side, I did hook up with the range guy here on base and got a chance to shoot 800 rnds of 5.56 though an M249, 600 rnds of 7.62 through an M240, qual on an M4, and requal (even though I did it right before coming out) in the M9 so that was fun. |
