We got word about this at our drill last weekend. The real bugger wasn't that it was the IED that killed them. After the explosion control of the vehicle was lost and they went head on into a tractor-trailer. 1SG Saenz (pronounced like "signs") used to be the 1SG of the 1864th Trans Co. Nat'l Guard unit in Henderson. He moved to the reserve unit on Sahara a little over two years ago. Friggin hajis... |
