I guess this happend at Davis-Monthan AFB. Story said 2 illegal Mexicans were drunk and high when they ran the gate. Drugs and a gun were found in the vehicle. Neither were wearing a seatbelt and hit the barrier at 50 mph and exited the vehicle through the windshield. We had one at Nellis do that in a Dodge Caravan a few weeks ago. The barriers work.

I know a contractor that can fix that barrier cheap. The barriers are kind of a feel good look good measure at most AF bases anyway. 50 yards down the perimeter you can probably find a nice stout chain link fence to go through instead. I'm thinking they are really there to keep the liberty paarty (or AF equivalent) from hitting a rent-a-cop at the gate and running up their Workers Comp costs. |
It is a fine choice. Risk of overpentration is slim. The round will probably fragment or at least have a displaced trajectory if you hit the windshiled. As long as you are on target, a car is a good back drop

No problem here. It was just proof of what kind of morons we worked for then and now. Its just like in Kuwait how I had to rant and rave to get them to authorize me moving the MK-19 overwatch from where my backstop was, 4 fully loaded AC-130 gun ships. Ya -right, My family came from Italy and worked for 50 years before being established. The Irish and Italians and others came legal like-through NYC not like some dogs running over borders with no care of the law in the soon to be country. Most Cans' come illegal, should be open to Police and Citizen’s arrest imho, and should be immediately deported with the Mexican Govt. paying for all fees associated with the arrests and deportations. If Mexico refuses, we should hit them with trade restrictions. You can turn in someone commiting fraud to the IRS for a reward but you can not get a blasted INS agent to deport some illegal who will suck way more from the system than tax perp anyday! |

I have to keep an eye on the news because when the Mexicans want to have high school ditch day it takes me an extra 10 minutes to get to work because they are walking in the streets and holding up traffic while I am paying tax out the ass for they’re education. If one of them gets hit by a car I pay for the hospital and they’re lawsuit. If I get hit by one of them I am shit out of luck... I am not t Juan... now I am Enrique, Juan went back to Mexico.
