Paid off. I was informed today that I will be receiving an incentive flight in a F-16 on August 17. I am just so happy that I had to share it with you guys. Hopefully I will be able to get pictures, (of the  all over the cockpit)Damn, I've drempt of this day since I was a little kid. Woo Hoo!!

It nice to see you turds get incentive rides on the fighters. They dont us give cops shit. Ive found theyre more than happy to pack our asses off in a C-130 and let us go get shot at. I guess they think they can fool us into thinking thats what an incentive flight is.

 I was thinking the same thing about the C-130, they are fun but I'll take a fighter. I was really surprised, since I don't work on main base, that I would get a ride. I guess getting Maintenance Professional of the Year, and being selected for the Lance P Sijan Award helped me out.  What's worse is when you here about some civilian getting a ride or somone in finance.  Talk to your Chief. Might be able to hook you guys up. Dan |
Id give my left nut just to sit in a fighter while it was taxing. I mean shit, we guard the fucking things but no one has ever offered to give us a ride. As an Airman, I won, Elite Gate Guard of the quater, Airman of the Quarter, Senior Airman Below the Zone, and Airman of the Year. I did all this shit in one year. All I got was a cheap plaque for each thing. At PSAB I got an incentive ride on an AWACS. We flew for 12 hours taking gas twice and then I still had to work no sooner than I got off the plane. I guess that part of being a cop. No respect. I'll just keep writng tickets and making arrests.

| Sweet! I was given an incentive flight in a F-16 years ago while TDY to Tyndall. Unfortunately the weather was real crappy so we couldn't get to crazy. Hope your flight turns out better than mine. hug.gif |
