feeding the cows when i spotted this little shit making a run for the border. When he stopped about a 100 yards away he took one in the head. Pups are not smart.

Beckett, when are you expecting the calves to drop?  Come this fall/winter I'm hoping to have some time off when I get back and I'll be up for some callin'.

Best time for shooting yotes up here is about right now when the pups are out then about the first snow . After that long as theres snow on the ground its good.

That little bastard could run, but he could hide!  I imagine a 223 would tear them up pretty good.  Soft points?

+1

Let me know when you guys set up a date, I would like to join you.

It's been a while since I've called, but I'm sure I can get it right after a few tries. I have a hand-held Lohman Circe 3-in-1 Call that works pretty well. Some guys use the recorded calls, but all I've ever used is the hand-held ones.

Should be interesting.

Be Safe.

Ya i usualy just buy those golden bear , cheap and hallow points. I was driving my diesel throwing hay off the back out in the middle of the pasture  when i saw that little shit jogging around the cows . But soon as i pulled the AR out of the back seat he bolted. I honked the horn and he stopped on the border, one shot right under the head and it was over. Big white truck out in a field and he decided he needed to get a few vitory laps in or something. But ya if you guys want to go im all for.

got that one on our ranch here in fallon. When i was going to school at UNR we use to go up in the hills behing logans lumber right there by lockwood kinda of and smoked a few yotes back there. Verdi was our favorite spot, had those damn squirrels and coyotes, not to mention good fishing.

O ya BigBang i orderd my phantom today so i will no longer have that damn mini y.

If anyone has a military hmmwv they already have this covered.  What ya do is remove the seat top of one of the back seats.  Stick a plastic bag down there.  Drop trou and take a seat.  Just do the rest of your crew a favor and remove the bag before you put the seat top back on.

No hmmwv, no problem.  That's where those "human chair" positions your drill sergeant put you in for hours on end come in handy.  Just back yourself up to a fender or tire, and you're all set.  Just do the truck behind you a favor and try not to run over your pile when the convoy starts rolling again.  Especially if there's a gun truck back there.  We put up with enough shit from know-nothing convoy commanders as it is.

I cant go shooting over there anymore. I always see those damn mustangs and get tempted. Just like i cant go shooting when im around people from cali i cant excerise enough self restraint.

o ya and everyone knows those 4th street crack whores dont have any teeth, been knocked or rotted out long ago.
