i think we could make this happen in the norther nevada region.
what do you all think. it would be a fun way to meet some fellow shooters, have a good time, asess your weapon of choice, and a good reason for a BBQ later!

i have a target stand and could make more (cheaply)
mine is made out of some metal bars, bolts, wing nuts and plywood. works wonders and is lightweight. i use a staple gun to hold the target on to the plywood so it doesnt blow the target off.

we have the Carson range (up by the dump) which i believe has a 300 yard target with benches.

the pistol ranges for the shorter 15 yard ranges.

would anyone like to participate? no point in setting it up unless there is some folks who want to try.

we would need about 4 volunteers (possible non shooters since they would be busy!). 2 would be range masters and 2 would be target boys and picture takers.

lets hear some feedback!

I sure hope they do the long range shooting before they do the reliability testing.  I'd imagine that 6 magazines as fast as you can fire them is going to eat up the throat of the barrel pretty quick.  Perhaps they could get somebody with a borescope to show up at the party for testing/documentation of the abuse the barrels can take, perhaps before and after examinations, seeing how the different barrel materials and brands compare.
