I won a Huldra complete upper at one of the Roasted Nuts shoots when they first came out.  Shot very well and without any issue at all.  Huldra uppers are based on the Adams Arms piston system which has been around for some time.  Adams Arms might actually manufacture the uppers (and possible lowers, too) for Fleet Farm and just brand them as Huldra for them.  They are good-to-go.

They are in fact made by Adams Arms along with FF's Korstog line which are direct impingement.  They use Voodoo nitrided barrels.  I have owned both.  The AA piston system is very reliable.  I had one of the first ones tbey produced and ran thousands of rounds through it.  Rarely cleaned it.  Periodically AA will run sales on their website  with complete rifles under $700.  Best bang for the buck in my opinion.
