Anyone in here going to Northern Invasion? 
I was also informed that Rush will be touring and playing 3 days before Northern Invasion in the twin cities. It could be a fun week. I already have tickets for NI but I've only seen Rush one other time and I'd like to hit both

I'm looking at going to NI. If you want Rush tickets get them now. Yesterday had nosebleed seats and VIP packages available. The rest were all on the resell market.
FWIW. Rush has stated this will be their last major tour. They will/may do occasional shows, but nothing like this again. |

It seems like Chicago was like this since they were released. All I can find is Resell tickets. Hopefully ill get to see them in Chicago and Detroit this time. |

I was spoiled by my 3rd row center in 2010, so I need to sit close for this one.

I didn't want to pay for Chicago, floor was over 1k, hell even the nose bleeds were a few hundred. St Paul was much more affordable especially when you figure in a hotel stay either way.
I was happy with my seats, back center. The screens are huge and cover the highlights. I don't need close floor seats anymore. I'm going for the live sound and vibe, the stage production is a bonus. |

He took his 88 year old mom who was wheelchair dependant to the concert at summerfest 2 years ago..

Its going to be a father/daughter trip for the Rush show. My father's day present to him.  He brought me to see them on the Snakes and Arrows tour back in '08, so I'm returning the favor. He's a bachelor and a child of the 70's, so he's a pretty fun guy to hang out with

The only place either of my daughters ever took me was to a Packer game  ... but that's good enuf for me.
She lives in Green Bay, and is friends with the wife of a retired Packer - who shall remain anonymous - and was able to snag some tickets to a Monday night game.

I was at the Dec lions game row 5 our sideline  We were at the Falcons game, about 30 rows up from the 35 nearest the jumbotron, Packers' side. Parking was $40  ... next time I go, if it's a day game, I'll park at my daughter's house, and take a cab or a bus (she's too far away to walk).
But OTOH, it was worth the $40 to be that close to my vehicle at 11:30pm at night (can't carry in the stadium  , so gun stays home... or in the truck ).
