I went through the DNR hunting regulations book for this year and noticed that it did not say there is a specific magazine limit for turkey. The book only seems to mention migratory birds have a limit of 3 rounds. Does that mean that while hunting turkey there is no magazine limit? I have a magazine extension on my shotgun and its kind of a pain to keep switching out the extensions with how stiff the springs are so if I can leave the extension on while I hunt turkey I am all for that.
Thanks in advance for the answer. Mike |

If you have a need to modify capacity of a shotgun with an extended mag tube then do yourself a favor and use a Nordic mag extension.
If you use a mag clamp, all you have to do is unscrew the cap on the end of the mag tube, drop in your mag plug and put the cap back on. You don't have to remove the mag clamp or mag tube itself. On a Benelli M2 20 gauge I have a Nordic +5 extension on it. It is much easier to deal with because the spring is not under that much pressure when I replace the end cap versus putting the while tube back on. Also with Nordic, once you remove the spring and mag tube you can screw on an extension of smaller capacity using all the existing Nordic hardware and just replace the spring with a shorter spring. Just food for thought. I have used them for about 6 years and love them. I only have one tac gun that has a non Nordic still on it now, a Choate but it has a Nordic mag clamp. Only clamp I have had truly stay put after high round counts. |

I actually have the +6 nordic extension on my Benelli SBE2 with the barrel clamp. I don't understand how putting the short mag plug in the end of the extension will bring the capacity down more than 1 or 2 rounds. Maybe I read something wrong or am misunderstanding, could u clarify?
Thanks! |

No need to remove the barrel clamp, mag tube or anything AND the spring is a hell of a lot easier to deal with that way. Does that help? I can do pics if you need some. |
