Im going to be selling my 12-14 john boat with motor and trailer soon.
It has been sitting my my back yard for more than 10 years since I have used it. When selling a boat does it have a title like a car ? its been so long I dont know if I need anything other than a bill of sale. |

Boats under 15 foot have an ownership card that needs to be signed when the boat is sold. boats over 15 foot have a title. |

If you dont have the card get a replacement. Its much easier on the buyer when he goes to register it. I just dealt with this crap with my 16' fishing boat. My tiny jon boat will never get a motor so I am not worried about that. If you want you can just drop it off at my place
