My dad thought I was nuts (he was probably right), he said it'd be just as fast with the 30 cent per gallon stuff he put in his Bonneville.

Yep, did the same with my '70 Mach 1. Think I paid less than 50 cents a gallon for 260 though. I still remember the gas wars, back in the early '60s, Shell "ETHYL" at around 23 cents a gallon! |
