Well, here's whats been going on with me for those who know who I am.
I got married finally last year, after 6 years with the same woman it was about time... But.... My wife had an apparent stroke earlier this year, she's only 32. The Neurologist had her change her birth control, and she ended up pregnant. I just worked 5 weeks straight on a 12 hour night shift and am burnt out. We went to have the ultrasound last week, and found out we are having twins. The high risk OB doctor wasn't convinced it was a stroke after consulting a second Neurologist, but they don't want to do another MRI until after the kids are born. This was supposed to be a fun year for us, but we are canceling a bunch of plans. I bought a plow truck last week just to make sure we could get to the hospital this winter as the babies are coming in December. I get snowed in a few times a year, as I live off county roads 20 some miles from Superior. I figured this is the time of year to do it, as no one is thinking of snow anymore, and I could get a good deal. I just brought my nephew up from Green bay to help me around the house, so I can get a bunch of stuff done. But after working with him one day I think he'll be pretty much useless. At least I am motivated to bust ass this summer. I am finally quitting dipping now too, so I'm going a little nuts with the withdrawls, but at least my wife is happy about that. Also in the past month or so I have been contacted by tons of guys I was in the Marines with. I guess I can deal with the evil FB to be able to keep in touch with them. This all kind of came out of the blue. But I guess I can't complain. I am pretty stable with my job, finances and my family. I am missing keeping up on my shooting this year, but hopefully that'll change too. I am looking forward to the Roasted nuts 4 shoot. It will be a good break from the stress, although I think I've been more happy about things than stressing. I'll need to camp at Parruthead's again this year if he's willing. Also Garage... we need to have another conversation/debate like last year. And hey. Jrpett... I finally got a Robinson M96... Took me a while to track one down, but I got a good deal. Take care all.
