Some of my fondest memories of time with my grandfather was sitting outside his small town WI post office handing out poppies.
I picked one up today like I do every year. Happy Memorial Day everyone, thank God for our freedom.

Memorial Day is a lot more than just an excuse to have a day off work, go on a picnic, or have a garage sale. It's too bad so many don't appreciate it for what it is, and it's good to see those who do. |
