So I made the drive up to Nelson tacticle. Website looked good so took the old man with me. Turns out it was a great experience. Staff was very helpful! Knowledgable! And above all treated us good even though they where busy and we where not regulars, which isn't always the case at some shops.
Anyways for those that haven't been there. Check em out. Small shop but packed full of high end shit. Les Baer, Ed brown, Wilson, and so on. Oh and to top it off as of sat they had at least 5-6 uppers and one complete lower on the wall! |
Yep, I stop in there every now and then. I was there the Fri. of the Sandy Hook shooting and regret not purchasing the FN SCAR I had in my hands when you could get one for 3 grand. Someone told me their stock was cleaned out 3 days later but it doesn't surprise my that Rick was able to re-stock quickly. He's a very good fellow to deal with and takes his time answering questions with all his customers!

He has a decent selection of new bolt guns and shotguns. As the rest of the thread reflected, .223 rifles and upers/lowers are out as are .308 lowers just like most every other store in the State. He does have a nice selection of .308 uppers yet. |

My buddies' dog's name is Nelson, and he's not been neutered.... so there actually are "Nelson Testicles", I've seen them when Nelson (a Lab) tried to hump my female Lab.
