Quoted: What is the name of that Hibachi place? Near Farm & Fleet "closest" to the Waukesha show? Up 18 a little there is the cheap buffet, Ching Hwa on Main St which isn't hibachi...not sure where you mean? There is Fujiyama way down, Calhoun maybe? You have me stumped. The Steak and Shake over there by Target and Gander is now a La Fuente in the footprint of the Steak and Shake, which looks so stupid to me I won't go. |

Quoted: I wonder if I should take some wolf ammo and new mags I just got and walk around with a sign... ![]() I sure as hell know I won't be buying anything. Yeah, I was wondering how one walks around with 20 rnd boxes of $1 a round Wolf ammo and $2 a round PMC, new PMAGs and some tins of 5.45x39. Or a LaRue PredatAR with the case and all the stuff. At gun show prices. Need a small chunk of a table and I'm rich I say, rich! The real problem is how do you carry all the cash back to the car? ![]() ![]() ETA -- and if somebody so urgently feels the need to give me $200+ dollars for a new in box BDM .22 AR drum, I say "self, why the f not". It's kind of ugly anyway. Just not sure I have the stomach for the stink/sweat/cluster-f it will probably be. I am betting we will see record crowds and a line at the door early Friday afternoon. Be careful in the parking lot, you might get jacked for a dozen PMAGs (aka $1,000,000). ![]() |

Push it around in a baby stroller. Yeah, you'll get looks and attention all right, just probably not the kind you're expecting. |

I'll have room. Got nothing else to sell but if I don't take my tables I loose them. |

Where's this show going to be held? Address or name? I have a rifle and some ammo to get rid of, and Friday afternoon sounds good. Waukesha County Fair Expo Center http://www.bobandrocco.com/events.html |

I've never been to a show. If you bring a rifle in do you have to bring it in cased? Are you better off bringing it in 2 pieces and assemble after checking in? I once walked into the Waukesha show with a M1A over my shoulder and no questions were asked. |

I'll paste what I wrote in the BCM thread and add to it. I left at (slightly after) closing. BCM still, amazingly, had stuff left. Prices are great. BCG's can be had with an upper only, one to one (and you can add a gunfighter charging handle for a deal). Had to buy an 20" upper I really didn't need or intend to just to get a BCG for a different BCM upper build from their parts I managed to get online... found a hat in the box and some other goodies. Amazing how that works. Deciding if it is worth selling as is or splitting up. Hmm. Paul was there himself helping people decide, discussing configurations, etc. A couple other guys too -- extremely friendly. Get it while you can. They said the dealers took half the stock they had before the show opened. Nice job Unnamed One. It was a zoo. Unlike anything seen before. Line out the door at 3:30 to the road but of course, one guy collecting cash at the door. He had a pile-o-20's like you wouldn't believe. Unlike online, not too many people biting at the PMAGs from 35-65. It seemed the only thing that people were biting at that was truly panic priced was ammo. I heard tons of people complaining about not getting ammo. Not so much AR's, surprisingly. BCG's also of course. Popular, now expensive, bulk ammo (i.e. Military Shooters) was gone pretty fast. At close he had sold out on all rifle ammo. Buck a round at most places. The news was also there doing interviews inside including in aisles. Go visit the Reaper Tactical booth. |

Who would in their right mind talk to the media at a gun show?! Just to make things abundantly clear... THE MEDIA IS NOT OUR FRIEND! If you can put on a good interview (that the liberal media CAN'T use), you are preventing them from finding someone who can give them an interview they CAN use. |

Who would in their right mind talk to the media at a gun show?! Just to make things abundantly clear... THE MEDIA IS NOT OUR FRIEND! If you are referring to the older gentleman in the NRA hat giving the interview to the news crew....that was Jim Fendry. It is ok. He has done this before. "Almost two weeks after the Newtown, Conn., elementary school shooting that killed 20 children and six school staff members, veteran Wisconsin gun-rights activist Jim Fendry said in a Newsmakers interview that no new federal or state laws will stop tragedies like that. Fendry, who started lobbying for Wisconsin gun owners in 1980 and who founded the Wisconsin Pro-Gun Movement, also said gun sales have skyrocketed since President Obama took office out of fear that the President will push through new gun-control laws. And, Fendry said, more than 226,000 Wisconsin residents applied for concealed carry weapons permits last year and through Dec. 23 of this year because they don’t want to “be victims.” http://www.wiseye.org/Programming/VideoArchive/EventDetail.aspx?evhdid=7008 |
