If Dave A shows up, I WILL smack him in teh face, and belittle him. May cause you all some embarrassment, but it needs to be done. While I can not make it, if he shows up, you call me, and I'll get there somehow. Some things are worth risking your marriage over. |

I've got a prior engagement that I'd love an excuse to get out of, and I've never (to my knowledge) met any of you, but that's a hell of a drive from the upper north area.
Really should take it as a cue to stage a get together up here, but then again we'd probably end up stomping our feet in the snow drinking beers around a fire, chowing down on grilled venison tenderloins .......nobody wants that

Oh, snap! ...that said, I probably won't be eating either. The Hooter's near South 76th and Layton made me sick a few years ago. Mike |

I'll be there. Who are the other 2 that are definitely going? It sure will make it easy and cheap enough to buy a round. Maybe even two, or three. Thanks guys! Great! So far the "goings" are: bignick neoinarien par0thead151 prebans jrpett (added to OP) That's cool. I don't think that I've met any of the "goings" yet. Unless it gets too big, this is definitely a "two rounder", no problem. |

In.
I'll be there. ETA.. this'll be surreal, because I haven't been to that Hooters, and the last time I was in that building was the 90's when it was "Bombay Bicycle Club". Back in college when I wore a red polo shirt for the CompUSA that used to be across the corner in the strip mall that has the Dunham's Sports. Nothing in particular about us loving BBC, just that it was the closest booze. So we'd all go there after close, and try with very limited success to hit on the CompUSA cashier girls. |

I remember it when it was the BBC! We used to go there Friday's after work from Hi-Ranger (west on Bluemound past the Holiday Inn). Damn fun times! |

It was GREAT to see everybody! I sense a build party or two in our futures! Mike agreed... choices choices, FAL, MG42, krinkov, RPD... it was nice getting to meet everyone. my wife and I had a great time I think both Mrs Grunt and Mrs Parrothead were glad there was another female there to chat with. Count me in on the build. I have 2 Romy G kits left and all the tools - except for the flat bending stuff, since I use nodak-spud receivers now. |

Was great to meet everyone indeed. It sure was.
So when and where is the next one? What's this Sobelman’s that's been mentioned several times in the 'posted places' (not posted) thread? Possibility? |
