A 31-year-old man suffered third-degree burns to his face near Horicon on Wednesday afternoon after a can of gunpowder exploded in his face.

The man had been trying to light a small amount of gun powder that he had put on the ground, according to a Dodge County Sheriff's Department news release. While trying to light it, the can of gunpowder he was holding in his other hand ignited and exploded. He was conscious and alert when medical personnel arrived, and was flown to Madison from Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Jesus Christ, this almost is as brilliant as the guys who add gasoline to a bonfire with a gas can.
I feel for the guys family and wife if he has one. but he should have known better @ 31 years old.

Funny because the headline (yesterday) was "Gunpowder explodes in man's face near Horicon".

I saw it –– thought "oh no" –– and clicked.

Followed by "whew...not flame but I wonder which arfcommer it was".

True story.
