Okay, I got my first taste of shooting steel targets at the silencer shoot, and now I DO WANt MOAR!
Where in the Milwaukee/Ozaukee area is there a place to shoot reactive steel targets? The Rogers Range at T1G was amazing; even on my second time through I can see my improvement on video. I'd fabricate something myself, but all my local clubs are pretty much a no-go for steels. |

Never shot steel, but from what everyone else has said it sounds like a blast. Good luck with your search. |

Quoted: I know of a place near me. It's a private club and by appointment. I have shot there before. A good amount of pistol only targets and only a few rifle plates. The guy that runs the place is kind of a douche bag. I think Ive shot there too. Never invited back, guys kind of a prick sometimes. ![]() |

I shoot steel all the time at the Green County rifle club range. Where is that, exactly? And is it public? If Cheaper than Dirt's range address is correct that'd be half the distance from me compared to Yellowstone. And give me a good excuse to shoot every week... |

The range is indeed located on Hwy 69, but it is about 3-4 miles outside of Monroe. |

I was told that you are always welcome back. I...I mean the guy that runs the place is going to be pulling the targets out of storage today or tomorrow to perform some pmcs on them. |

Doesn't look big enough for a 200 yard range. |

If you have some land, this place has some amazing targets: Link
We used them at one of the matches and they held up great until some idiot with 308 AP tore them up! |

And it's a public range you say... Hmmmm. |

The range is most certainly private, and requires a membership fee and keys to access. Its run and owned by nice folks though. PM me and I can get you more info. |
