The last few years I have been shooting match rifles in both Highpower and Smallbore events with nice triggers (RRA 2 stage, WOA tuned by John & Anschutz which is second to none). Well this weekend I pulled out my preban Colt 6520 "Ninja" carbine and Damn I couldn't hold 18" from a standing position at 100m.
I took it over to the bench and was able to squeeze it down to 6" (which would still make me cry at a match). The moral to this story and the reason for this post is simple. A bad trigger will make you a bad shot, so drop a few bucks on a smoother aftermarket trigger or ask Todd to make yours better. And to all of you Colt haters out there that are about to jump on this thread, go whine somewhere else. |
