I have been looking for some Wisconsin hunting land for a while. I walked a parcel yesterday right out of Necedah that I am seriously considering. I like the location near the lakes/atv trails etc.
So here's my question for anyone who might live in the area: What is Necedah like? The people I met there have all seemed real friendly. This is somewhat surprising to me since I have Illinois plates and I know our reputation Anyway, if you have any thoughts on the area I would greatly appreciate it. bob |

The FIB-thing is pretty much reserved for those in luxury German cars driving like jackwagons on the highways.
And loudmouth drunken Cubs fans at Miller Park in Milwaukee. And those who come up here and buy all the lake property as tear-downs, putting up summer home McMansions. The Illinois-hate is really just the exact same thing that the rest of Illinois hates. Chicago. |
| My family owns land in Necedah. I couldn't tell you exactly where off hand but the locals seem to be nice enough. Aside from some jackass next door that started posting our land as private property and dumping all his shit on it we haven't had issues(he has since moved). The hunting is decent. Our area is somewhat overgrown so drives and still hunting are usually what bag us the most deer but since they clear cut the paper mill property adjacent to us we have had a lot of movement in and out of the swamp at dawn/dusk. Some areas are getting pretty developed but it hasn't hit us yet. We tent on our land when we hunt(no structures) and most of the area around us is public land with some good atv/snowmobile trails and good hunting. Even on opening day it's fairly quiet in the area. You may get the occasional group of guys to come through some public land by you doing a drive but that's about it. Some of the state owned park areas can get a little more crowded but even then you really don't have a shortage of land to hunt(though we rarely hit those areas up). |

You confirmed what I was thinking. I hope this works out |
| And I wouldnt say cubs fans are typically loudmouth drunken fans. It just seems to come naturally at miller park , or "Wrigley North" as we like to call it, since the cubs are just so good at kicking the brewers ass there. Its all in good fun, its just a game, although i do seem to run across a lot of angry brewer fans whenever im there. I love cubs brewers games. |
