Searched and found nothing on this. Just wanted to give a heads up to those that might not know that there is a state Supreme Court primary vote this Tuesday (2/15/11). The state Supreme Court currently sits with a 4-3 conservative lead. However, if incumbent judge David Prosser would loose to either of the three challengers the court would swing to a liberal majority. This would be unfortunate to see with the traction gained in the November elections. Please vote if you can find the time.
Justice David Prosser JoAnne Kloppenburg Marla Stephens Joel Winnig |

Quoted:
Which liberal has the most momentum? Within the link for Justice Prosser he notes that Kloppenburg is a "strong candidate". I myself don't have a lot of knowledge about the candidates, but seeing that Prosser is singling out Klopenburg I'd say she is the biggest challenger. |
| JoAnne Kloppenburg was an intern for anti-gun Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson and emulates many of her activist positions. Also, although you can vote for up to two candidates in the primary, you should probably only vote for Justice Prosser if you want a conservative since the others are all liberals. |

I was dozing in and out of it in the truck today, I'm pretty sure I heard them say it was a misconseption you could vote for more than 1 person. If thats the cases 2 votes means an invalid ballot. |

Thanks for posting this. I'll stop in with the wife after work and put 2 yeses on Prosser.
Kloppenburg is a freaking devil spawn. LINK. |

FYI: If you're not sure where your polling place is, I was able to look it up through the state website: https://vpa.wi.gov |

THANKS for starting this. I had forgot and just sat down with a beer. Checked to see if the poles were open and sure enough, open till 8pm. Dragged the wife with me to vote just now.
The ladies at the poll said the turnout was pretty good, close to 10%. Usual primary turnout is around 6%. |

things looking good so far. This is a little ridiculous we even have to deal with this in the primary. Hopefully when the liberal activists are up to bat, we get conservative and conservative choices.
