That is all. |

Quoted: So what's in the feedbag today? Today is what I would call a light weight day. Breakfast. Left over COLOSSAL shrimp. Chopped up and scrambled eggs with some portabellas off the smoker last night, maple sausages AND bacon. Toast and taters. Yummy. That was lunch seeing as no one here was up before 10am. Dinner right now is smoked 1.5" thick pork chops fresh off the smoker, with some egg plant parmigiana and some really yummy rolls the better half made. Tomorrow will be ribeyes with the Packers. |

Quoted: Man, you guys eat well. I like your style but have trouble motivating myself to put all that work into it on a regular basis. Guess it is like anything else, just have to stop being a lazy ass. I am eating some left over shrimp from last night...but forgot to grab a couple bags of Colossal's at Sam's though (which really aren't all that big). On a related note, I have a folder on this computer in which I randomly right click/save pics of guns and what not from the Internet –– primarily arf –– when I see something I like or an idea for future reference. Hundreds and hundreds pics for sure. I was just scanning through looking for a cut foam pelican case pic (almost got motivated enough to start building the DIY foam cutting table today) and stumbled across this mixed in. If I recall, it is probably yours... maybe not but I'm pretty sure it is an arfcom dinner pic. I want this meal, exactly as is. The onions are a particularly special touch. http://i53.tinypic.com/2r7wowp.jpg Not mine, but could duplicate easily. Although I'd one better it with smoked/roasted portabellas and a nice Menege Et Trois Red. And of course, more sauce for the steak. I haven't done a dinner pic thread in a while. Those medallions look quite yummy. Might have to do one of these tomorrow. |

Quoted: I had to work all nite last nite. This is what I had when I got home this morning. It consisted of fried eggs over easy, potatoes, and venison breakfast sausage. I had no intentions of using it as a "dinner thread" post, but rather sent it to a few of my buddies who were bugging me all nite long. The Mrs is never impressed with me having a beer at 0700 though. http://i53.tinypic.com/1r2qtz.jpg PS...EspnU is replaying the Rose Bowl tonite at 2300 for those of you who missed it earlier. We are.

Quoted: I thought MY family was the only one that drank PBR ![]() Lots of PBR folks 'round these parts. Don't knock the Pabst of yesteryear anyway. My grandfather worked for Pabst for a looooong time. I recall as a youngster taking trips to the "beer depot" where they got to pick up their regular "allowance" of Pabst products. I understand in years earlier, it was even more generous. That and being on a route, you would basically stop and have one a few with each customer. We would fill up the car and then make a few stops on the way home –– he was extremely popular with his friends and neighbors. |

I thought MY family was the only one that drank PBR ![]() I love PBR. My Old Man drank it growing up and I was cheap back in NY - $9.99 a 30 rack; I can't believe it's $15 here...luckily a 30 rack will last me half a year. The high light of moving to WI for me was for PBR. I was heart broken to learn that it's no longer made here in Milwaukee. I have since discovered Spotted Cow (when I'm feeling classy), Schlitz, and Old Style. Lost Lake is okay on occasion, but I can't drink it regularly. Though PBR is quickly losing its appeal for me, especially when I see all these "Hipsters" drinking it thinking they are "cool". Tools. Today, I saw a Pink Panther-physique, cage-free Bushwick chicken raising, leg warmer wearing hipster twirling the end of his mustache as he decided if he wanted an organic cranberry scone or kelp crackers to go with his PBR.
