You're supposed to contact me when you go to the range. I carry a shovel and a snow brush. Sheesh! Given the time of year it is, I assume everybody has family commitments. Next time I go I'll let you know. But I probably won't get out there until the Frozen Nuts shoot now. |

That spring failure is why all my Glocks have NY triggers. That's great. But I own a CZ. I love my MGM targets as well. You'll own them forever. V OUT |

Did anyone make the "December special" autopopper purchase from MGM? Heck of a deal with free shipping. The concept of the DIY speed plate rack for that price is a good one. Can't beat that anywhere. Some of you folks beat the heck out of the demo one at Roasted Nuts, having it way closer than it was supposed to be –– held up well for the beat down it received at least until the end. |

I waited till they were on sale, then bought 2, and got a 3rd as a gift from my parents. What happened to the one at the roasted nuts shoot? Broken spring, right? |

It took plate edge shots and leg shots that took out big chunks, and the big nut –– but that was with some serious non-typical shooting going on at close range. Nothing it should have held up to regardless of build quality. Multiple hits at the same time, etc. It should have been taken out further in the swamp. ![]() Oh what the heck, time to bust out the credit card for some post-Christmas purchases from MGM. |
| the hard part is do i want the nice easy 6in plate or do i pick out the one that is in the shape of the enemy?(i have a squirrel issue at my house) i just wonder if it can hold up to all my rounds i shoot 5.56 .45 are the biggest and there website doesn't say much about that. but i know by the time i left soggy nuts shoot it had alot of hits on the legs and i thought i heard someone mumbling about shooting it with the 50cal |

The spring that holds tension on the trigger bar somehow worked it's way free, and wouldn't allow the trigger to reset sometimes, and was causing feeding failures. It was easy enough to pop back into place, but I couldn't do it at the range because of the foot of snow on the picnic tables.
