Those who know me know that lately I have been hunting with my Glock 20 10mm. I have taken a couple deer before and a massive wild hog. I have never seen the awesome knockdown power like I did last night. The does came out onto the edge of the field about 45 yards from me. I lined up on the biggest seeing there wasn't any sign of a buck following. The pistol belched an beautiful fireball in the evening air and as the pistol came down from the recoil I saw a white belly on the ground. She didn't get back up, the beast was dead! The 180 gr Hornady XTP struck the upper shoulder and took her off her feet and the bullet still passed through. Damn that was fun, then I realized I had forgot to bring hearing protection...oops.

The more I read about the 10mm the more I want to buy one.  That may be the 2011 gun purchase (I'm on the one-per-year plan).  I reload .40 already so I'm set up for it w/ most components.

Very nice!

Pretty cool, but if you were in Wisconsin you might want to put up a different picture that doesn't have an uncased gun in a vehicle!

Does the glock 20 have a legal barrel length?

Notice that he has an after market barrel on it bringing it up to the legal length.

That's what I took my deer with last year. Glock 20sf with KKM 6" barrel using Double Tap 200 Gr Hornady. Still trying to fine tune it's accuracy with aftermarket sights. At 75-100 yards the front sight still covers a lot of area. Is a 50 yard zero more practical.

Doesnt matter possibly he's in the act of putting in a case, in which then its perfectly legal to rest your firearm on your vehicle.  Nice doe.

Not sure about that.  I know they changed the law a couple years ago but I thought you could no LEAN you gun against your vehicle, not set your gun ON your vehicle.  Stupid law regardless but I don't want anybody getting in trouble for posting pix.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I have a permit to hunt from a standing vehicle. The barrel is an aftermarket 5 1/2" from Numrich. Looking back I would spend a few extra bucks and get a 6" from Storm Lake next time. Some states if I would hunt there are 6" minimum. It does shoot really sweet.
