| Round two for the winter, I'm glad we can bug in for the next 4 days! Monroe Wi. just lost power, scanner is going nuts. plow trucks cant get fuel. the ones that can are "chaining up" this is going to be another doosey! One funny part about it though is the wifey told someone we were locking ourselves in the house for a few days. there reaction was do you have enough food. She just laughed and said do not worry about that. |
| She is so thanking for me for a alternative heat source, propane appliances, months worth of food. I think she finally realizes i am not crazy and she is worried about the electric, I said I got that covered don't worry about it. We are about to get as close to shtf as we may ever get! well minus the zombie attacks. |

push comes to shove Rudolf you are always welcome here. That's a very generous offer, brother. When you said it before, I thought you were just being polite. Having it come up out of the blue now ... I believe you, and I'm sort of awe struck. "Thank you" is about the only thing I can come up with to say. |
| I'm getting the luck of the draw so far for winter storms and I'm stuck at work once again for the "big one." So far we've had a slow day, one rescue call, did some ice rescue training and went swimming in Lake Mendota, then laid out the tire chains for the night just in case. The radio is pretty quiet for now, but I'm sure that in the morning when people are trying to get to work we'll hear some tones drop and we'll be out the door. |

Way too close to the puzzle palace for my liking. You said the "Q" word you poor bastard. ![]() |

Green County SO channel? you might have heard me then, I was busy driving from call to call yesterday (in our Impala squad none the less) helping with traffic control for the wreckers pulling out the never ending list of vehicles in the ditch. |

The governor's mansion is in the jurisdiction where I work, so I have the "pleasure" of protecting Mr. Doyle when he's not off spending tax payer money for trips to socialist global warming get together.... Made it through the night with nothing! |
