How many private ranges allow their members to OC unrestricted????

I know that people have gotten bent out of shape regarding a Milwaukee gun shop which has a range and does not allow OC.  What about other indoor ranges in WI??   What about private outdoor ranges?  What is the state of our State regarding the average range and people's sensitivity to being told that they need to case their firearms away from the firing line???

Streichers in Waukesha is OC friendly, and has a great range.  I refuse to give Shooter's Shop any more business because of their anti-OC stance, and recommend others to do the same.  I've been a long-time range customer of theirs, too.  Oh well, their loss.

might want to make sure it is not part of their insurance policy.
their ammo prices are kind of out of wack though. i asked about buying in bulk(10,000 rounds +) and they took a calculator, and multiplied their 50 or 100 count price and equated that for 10,000 rounds....
like i cant do the math, i was buying a portion of a pallet of ammo from them and they wanted retail...

irregardless, OC or even conceal carry should be done by everyone who is at a public or private range, especially if you are there alone.
what happens if someone shows up while your down range changing targets? what if they decide to rob you or worse?
i make a point to sling a rifle now when going down range when shooting alone...

I refuse to give them any more of my business too. I bought a 1911, ammo and some other goodies for my rifle, spent a lot of money that day. I asked if they could throw in a little range time so I could run a box of ammo through my new 1911. They said they cant do that due to insurance reasons. I walked out and have never been back there.

I am not so happy with the shooter shop either... when purchasing a rather expensive pistol, I also had them order a hard to find left handed part for a rifle.  Months later when it finally came in, he sold to someone else.  I never got a phone call (but I had been calling them asking about it).  His only concern seemed that he didn't take any money from me, rather than loosing my business.  I also wanted him to order a bunch of mags for me and he never did.

Did I mention this all took place in the summer of '08 before the election madness when they were hurting for business?

Also, do you mean Streichers in Milwaukee?  (Butler?)  Or are you talking about Fletchers in Waukesha?

i now recall why i dont shoot at their indoor range any more... aside from the price increase(that happened everywhere though due to insurance increases)
but i went a few winters ago when i was in college, with my girlfriend(now fiancee) and asked if i could share a lane with my girlfriend and help her brush up on her marksmanship. she is not a bad shot, but i prefer her to have trigger time every so often so as to be proficient should she ever need to use the handgun to defend her self.
anyways, the guy behind the counter said that they charge per person, irregardless of the fact that i only had 150 rounds of ammo and one handgun. i paid the 30-40$ and shot for the day, but never have returned.
a little customer service goes a long way in my book. "sorry those are the rules" is a bullsit line... i wa snot asking him for a 2 for one deal or anything, but come on, your seriously going to charge me twice the range fee just because i prefer to not shoot while my girlfriend is shooting. i would just hand her a loaded handgun and tell her to have fun. i bet she could accidentally shoot their ceiling, lights, target frame, and do all sorts of other dangerous shit then... ooh wait, thats what usually happens at indoor ranges with unsupervised novices!
