Hi Guys, Hoping to get some help from locals who are more familiar with this site than I.
I posted a FS ad for the first time: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=21&t=693630&page=1 I didn't have pictures at the time, and explained why. More-so, I was curious about pricing. I priced the stuff at the higher end of what I was hoping to get, but am negotiable, and thought I was clear on that. Is this site more particular about pricing, like if you post $50 obo, is the general consensus that the obo part is BS and the seller really wants $50 no-less? I always like to haggle if there is not a specified firm price and I don't mind haggling when I sell stuff because the buyer gets a good deal and I usually get better than my bottom dollar. But, I am fearing that this site prefers 'saturn style' no-haggle pricing based on the lack of feedback or inqueries I'm getting, or maybe my stuff sucks really bad, who knows. Thanks for any help. It's not pistol registration, its registered as a pistol.
The AR lowers can be registered as pistols or rifles when you buy them. If they are registered as rifles, you can take them right away but must have 18" or longer barrels on them (or 18" or longer overall). If it is registered as a pistol, you wait the (however many) days and can put any length barrel on it. Good point on the vue thing. |
| No registration, didn't matter whether long or handgun was checked on old 4473's as long as stripped rec was noted. On new 4473's, the other category. As long as rec. was never built into a rifle, you could build it into a pistol first. Some folks may be worried that "pistol only" or "regiestered pistol" or some kind o other stuff is engraved on the lower. |
| The prices do seem a bit high. I understand though why you have them that price. If you start out higher than what you want to get and put on the OBO then there is a better but not certain chance of getting what you want. However, if you just advertise them for what you paid for them and make that price firm then you might have better success and get some more activity. |

Oh, yes, now I understand what you are refering to with the 4473 docs. The ZM unit is actually less than what I paid when you add up the parts. Once my 3 Day bump rolls around I will edit the prices. Again, I appreciate the feedback. If you just use the edit function you dont have to wait 72 hours. |

Yup, I know.
I edited the prices, one thing sold. Very cool. Put up a whole bunch of other fs ads and those are getting responces. I knew I'd get the hang of this. Thanks guys. I wish I could put stuff here because FTF would be so much easier then shipping but... Bob |
